Job summary

Oil States Energy Services is seeking a Production Services Field Service Technician for the New Iberia, LA location. The role is primarily offshore and involves installation, operation, repair, removal, and maintenance of oilfield tools and equipment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be willing to travel; CDL and DOT medical card may be required. The position demands strong safety compliance and the ability to work long shifts offshore.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to travel extensively and be on call 24/7.
• Must pass pre- and post-employment drug and alcohol tests per company policy.
• May require a Class A CDL and a valid DOT medical card.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, operate, and maintain company tools and oilfield equipment.
• Operate mobile crane truck, pickup and trailer; travel across state lines as needed.
• Communicate job changes, equipment needs, timelines, and issues to management daily.
• Lead and mentor less experienced employees; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Perform pre-job safety meetings and document job reports and logs.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle records; assist in shop and deliveries when possible.
