Job summary

Oil States Energy Services is seeking a Wireline/Pressure Control Field Service Technician for offshore work, primarily offshore from Houma, LA. The role involves installation, operation, and maintenance of oilfield tools and equipment, with CDL/OBL requirements as applicable.

Candidate should be able to operate in varied weather, coordinate with customers, and support safety protocols; strong communication and mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or desired.
• Must be able to travel for extensive periods and be on call 24/7.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and pass pre- and post-employment drug/alcohol tests.
• May require a Class A CDL and always carry a valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, operates, removes, and maintains various company tools and equipment.
• Drives and operates a mobile crane truck, pickup and trailer delivering tools across districts as needed.
• Maintains and reports on company vehicles and rental equipment; completes job reports and logs accurately.
• Performs on-site job actions planning and communicates with customers and management.
