Job summary

GEV Wind Power seeks experienced Competent Wind Turbine Technicians for offshore operations. You will perform planned and corrective maintenance on Vestas offshore wind turbines, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and document work using OEM and client reporting systems.

Successful candidates will hold essential GWO certifications, OEUK/ENG1 medical, and fitness testing. Start from January 2027 with a 4-week rotational schedule, joining a collaborative, safety-focused

Qualifications

• Previous experience on offshore wind platforms, especially Vestas 8MW/9MW/10MW.
• GWO BST, BTT, and BST-related safety trainings.
• GWO BST, BTT, Enhanced First Aid, and Enhanced Rescue.
• GWO Slinger Signaller; Crane & Basic Hoist User; RAMS and SSOW familiarity.
• OEUK/ENG1 Medical (or equivalent offshore medical).
• Chester Step Test or equivalent fitness assessment.
• WTSR Core and WTSR MMIs with practical assessment.
• Vestas TOS and SAI; safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and corrective maintenance on offshore wind turbines.
• Support fault-finding and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation and service reports in OEM/client systems.
• Adhere to SSOW, RAMS, risk assessments, and HSE requirements.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to maximise turbine availability.
