Job summary

Danos seeks a Valve Technician Helper to assist with maintenance and repairs on offshore and land facilities. The role requires flexibility for a 24/7 callout schedule and travel to worksites by marine or helicopter transport.

You will support the Valve Technician, handle basic hand tools, and uphold safety rules. Qualifications include a TWIC card, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Mechanically inclined.
Valid TWIC card.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Live within 45 minutes from the shop.
High School Graduate or have a GED.
Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required.
Previous experience with valves is a plus.

Responsibilities

Be willing to work a 24/7 callout schedule and assist with valve maintenance.
Perform maintenance tasks on offshore and land facilities and assist the Valve Technician.
Identify and use basic hand tools and perform general housekeeping.
Provide account manager support by phone and email and complete preventative maintenance.
Observe safety and project rules and participate in safety trainings and drills.
May travel to worksite by marine or helicopter transport and may reside at the worksite on a schedule.
Take proper care of test instruments and tools and work well in a team or independently.
