Gulf Island LLC in Houma, LA seeks an Offshore Combo Welder to fabricate and weld structural and piping for offshore decks. Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, following ISO/QC standards, and passing AWS D1.1/ASME IX/API 1104 tests.

Qualifications

• Must pass a practical welding test: WPS 362 6GR SMAW and WPS 419 6G SMAW.
• 2+ years experience in Structural and Pipe Welding.
• TWIC card.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate welding machines for structural and pipe work.
• Weld structural and piping components to specified drawings and codes.
• Maintain welding quality to pass NDT testing where required.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
