Job summary

HCLTech Houston offshore IT team seeks an experienced Server & Systems Support Specialist to manage Windows servers, perform setup, maintenance, patching, and hardware replacements, and monitor virtual machines. You will run automated tasks, ensure security standards, backups with Acronis, and provide desk-side support to staff and vendors.

This 14 on/14 off offshore rotation requires hands-on offshore platform experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an enterprise IT environment.
• Strong experience managing Windows servers.
• Experience applying security standards and hardening guidelines.
• Hands-on antivirus and patch management experience.
• Prior offshore platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows servers, including setup, maintenance, and hardware replacements.
• Start, stop, and monitor servers and virtual machines.
• Apply security patches and software updates to keep systems compliant.
• Perform backups/restores using Acronis tools.
• Provide first-level support for network printers and field staff.
• Escort external engineers and maintain safety and readiness on offshore platforms.
