Job summary

Gulf Island LLC in Houma, Louisiana is seeking an Offshore Scaffold Builder to install and dismantle scaffolding for steel structure fabrication in a quality-driven environment. The role requires adherence to ISO/QC program standards and safe work practices.

The candidate will operate hand tools, position scaffolding, and ensure platforms meet safety requirements. Prior offshore scaffold experience is essential, along with valid TWIC and background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in offshore scaffold building.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe work platforms.
• Fit together steel pipe, support braces and clamps.
• Lift and position scaffolding, bolts pipe and places planks.
• Use various hand tools.
• Perform all duties safely and per procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
