Compass Group USA – ESS Support Services Worldwide is seeking a Safety Coordinator based in Lafayette, LA. You will work with Safety Managers to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and support safety initiatives across offshore and land sites, including TWIC requirements for offshore work.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, policy development, incident investigations, and training, with full‑time status and competitive benefits. Join our team delivering safe, compliant operations 365 days a year.

Qualifications

• Food and/or safety experience is preferred.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills are preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, creativity, and training skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• Bachelor's degree in food service, safety, nutrition or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports efforts of company operations to assure continued attention to safety success.
• Develops and implements new corporate safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures presentation and serving temperatures follow the HACCP standard.
• Provides information related to safety and workers compensation to all levels of management.
• Identifies programs and tools to positively impact safety.
• Investigates accidents as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
