Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks an Operations Engineer to provide on-platform engineering support to maintain production uptime and optimize operating expenses for offshore facilities.

You will work with Field Operations, Process Engineering, and Topside Facilities to monitor performance, troubleshoot equipment, support upgrades, and ensure safe, compliant operation; require a Bachelor's in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years in oil and gas.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years oil and gas industry experience.
• Offshore Gulf of Mexico experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, process controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of production, utility, and safety systems.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with planners and technicians to reduce downtime.
• Support upgrades, modifications, and commissioning of offshore assets.
• Participate in hazard reviews and Control of Work isolations.
