Job summary

Chevron Corp. Gulf of America Operations & Maintenance Internship invites students pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field to gain offshore experience on GOA facilities. Interns may rotate through Operator, Mechanic, Automation Technician, or Electrician tracks in a 14/14 offshore schedule.

The program develops core O&M skills, safety discipline, and teamwork while exposing interns to SCADA, DCS, and field operations under seasoned mentors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a related degree within the past 2 years.
• Willingness to work a 14/14 offshore rotation and 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor offshore production processes and optimize variables.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain offshore equipment.
• Operate and maintain automation systems (DCS, SCADA) and related instrumentation.
• Work safely with a diverse team across multiple facilities.
