Job summary

Transocean in the Offshore Drilling Group is seeking an experienced MPD Supervisor to oversee managed pressure drilling operations on offshore rigs. You will report to the Drilling Superintendent and supervise MPD specialists, ensuring alignment with safety and operational standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years of offshore MPD experience, Well Control certification, and proven ability to perform technical calculations and use hydraulic modelling software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of calculations for safe drilling operations.
• Well Control certificate per training matrix.
• Ability to use hydraulic modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Drilling Superintendent.
• Supervises MPD Specialist.
• Attend and participate in all required Safety and Operational meetings.
• Participate in annual performance appraisal and competency assessments.
• Complete company training requirements for the MPD Supervisor role.
• Full participation in emergency drills and respond to emergencies.
• Observe duties in the safety case for this position if applicable.
