Job summary

Transocean is seeking an experienced MPD Supervisor to lead offshore MPD operations on drilling units. You will report to the Drilling Superintendent and supervise the MPD Specialist, ensuring safe execution of complex well-control tasks.

The role requires 5+ years of offshore MPD experience, well-control certification, and strong skills in hydraulic modelling and MS Office. US-based offshore deployment with strict safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; formal education or craft certificate as applicable.
• Military discharge preferred for US personnel.
• Trade school or university education preferred depending on job requirements.
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates are required.
• Knowledge of technical calculations for safe drilling operations.
• Valid Well Control certificate per standard training matrix.
• Ability to use hydraulic modelling software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• 5+ years offshore MPD experience.
• OEM MPD training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise MPD operations on offshore drilling units.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all HSE procedures.
• Report to Drilling Superintendent and coordinate with MPD Specialist.
• Oversee planning of MPD tasks and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and calibration of MPD equipment.
• Mentor crew members and support competency assessments.
