Job summary

Ably Resources is seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Engineer for offshore oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong FPSO/FPU background and at least 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Responsibilities include delivering engineering documentation, leading bid evaluations, and reviewing vendor documentation. This role offers exposure to major EPC projects across the full project lifecycle. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment is essential, along with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering within oil & gas projects.
• Strong experience with rotating equipment such as gas turbine generators, compressors, and pumps.
• Proven ability to manage vendor documentation and engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Act as Package Engineer for mechanical systems and deliver engineering documentation.
• Lead Technical Bid Evaluations and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
• Review and approve vendor documentation for equipment packages.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
