Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks an Instrument Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers in offshore instrument systems design from our Houston, TX office. You will supervise engineers, review calculations, and ensure adherence to quality and HSSE standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, ABET accreditation preferred, and a background in SPI, valve sizing, and related sizing software. 15+ years in industry with supervisory experience is ideal.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
ABET Accredited Institution preferred.
Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Interact with direct reports, clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
Set realistic expectations and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Adhere to quality standards and engineering procedures.
Review and approve engineering drawings and calculations produced by team.
Manage group workload, budgets and resources for projects.
Ensure safe design practices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Supervise staff, evaluate performance and resolve routine grievances.
