Job summary

Danos is seeking an HSE Representative Offshore to oversee health, safety, and environmental activities at offshore sites in Houma, LA. The role requires conducting site visits, audits, and coordinating crew changes while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

The position involves working nights, weekends, and holidays, with extended shifts as needed. Strong communication, documentation, and incident management skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in Safety field preferred.
• 1+ years Industrial Safety experience in heavy fabrication/construction.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and TWIC.
• Safety certification such as COSS preferred.
• Offshore safety training certifications (Water survival, etc.) desirable.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site visits and HSE audits to enforce compliance.
• Facilitate crew changes, ensuring HSE protocol compliance.
• Manage case handling for work-related injuries and incidents.
• Review and update HSE policies and procedures as needed.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Perform environmental sampling, reporting, and coordination with consultants.
• Maintain HSE records and reports for clients and internal use.
• Support HSE training and awareness programs offshore.
