Job summary

Gulf Island LLC is seeking an HSE Coordinator to monitor daily yard and shop operations, ensuring compliance with safety rules and procedures. You will identify and report unsafe acts and hazardous conditions to supervisors promptly, supporting a safe work environment.

You will conduct daily safety and facility inspections, assist in accident investigations, and help provide safety equipment and training. Offshore travel and on-call work may be required, with a focus on OSHA compliance and

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in HSE within the oil and gas industry.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to fluently speak Spanish and Engish.
• Must be able to work On-Call occationally.
• Must be able to work night shift occationally.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of field operations to ensure safe work practices.
• Conduct daily facility inspections and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Participate in accident investigations and prepare reports.
• Escort personnel with on-the-job injuries to medical facilities.
• Assist in issuing safety equipment and maintaining inventory.
• Prepare weekly safety reports and OSHA-related documents.
• Occasionally travel to offshore platforms as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
