Job summary

Our client in offshore construction seeks an Electr. Conventional Vessel Lead to supervise all electrical and electronic systems on a pipe-laying barge operating in Azerbaijan.

The role requires leadership of a 10+ person electrical team, strong marine automation knowledge, and experience with K-Chief/K-Pos systems. You will plan preventive maintenance, coordinate spares, and ensure safety and cyber-security compliance aboard the vessel.

Qualifications

• Senior electrical leadership onboard offshore vessels with heavy lift experience.
• Background as Chief Electrician / First Electrician or similar senior role.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (AMOS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all electrical/electronic systems onboard offshore vessels.
• Ensure safe operation, reliability and availability of critical equipment.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support planning with spare parts strategy and resources.
• Supervise electrical operations per procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate fault finding, inspections and interventions.
