Job summary

Borr Drilling Ltd is seeking an Electrician to join our operations in U.S. waters. The role involves maintenance and repair of electrical systems on Jack-Up rigs, working under the Chief Electrician or Rig Maintenance Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has a vocational electrical qualification, relevant offshore experience, and is fluent in English. Compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures is essential, along with the ability to conduct troubleshooting and repair activities efficiently.

Qualifications

• Relevant Oil & Gas experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience of electrical maintenance operations on offshore drilling units or marine equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance and repair activities of electrical equipment onboard the rig.
• Ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Maintain housekeeping and appearance in general areas of the rig.

Skills

Fluency in written and spoken English

Effective communication skills

Ability to understand line diagrams and technical drawings

Ability to anticipate potential hazards

Education

Vocational Electrical Qualification or equivalent

Comp Ex or Equivalent

Offshore Medical Certificate
