Job summary

A leading drilling company in Kentucky is seeking a Drilling Section Leader to oversee operational safety, efficiency, and client relations. The candidate will provide leadership onboard, managing the drilling operations and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. The ideal applicant has over 10 years of experience in drilling environments and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. This role requires a High School Diploma, MODU OIM License, and experience with Dynamic Positioning Systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Tour Pusher.
• MODU OIM License, Unrestricted, Surface Units Underway or Surface Units on Location.
• BOSIET CA EBS and Well Control Level 4 Surface and Subsea.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational safety, efficiency, and client relations of drilling operations.
• Directly represent the company on board and supervise rig operations.
• Coordinate with the designated supervisor on operations affecting vessel ballast.
• Communicate regularly with the operator's on-site representative.
