Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Decommissioning Loop Operator - A to oversee start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of process and utility systems on offshore facilities. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and effective communication to ensure quality operations.

You will conduct risk assessments, lead safety meetings, and maintain calibration/testing records while coordinating vendor activities and maintaining positive working relationships on a remote offshore platform.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 4–6 years offshore production operator experience.
• Willing to live on a supply vessel full-time; per diem provided.
• Medically fit to offshore standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee startup, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of process and utility systems.
• Lead safe operations by conducting safety meetings and risk assessments.
• Witness calibrations and maintain testing and maintenance records.
• Coordinate logistics for facility and manage vendor/subcontractor activity.
• Maintain compliance with API 14C, API RP 2D, CFR/USCG and SEMS.
• Mentor and coach operators to ensure safe, efficient performance.
