Job summary

Danos, LLC seeks an Decommissioning Loop Operator - A to oversee startup, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of offshore process and utility systems. The role includes troubleshooting, ensuring environmental compliance, and maintaining equipment to support sales quality and delivery volume.

You will mentor operators and supervise safety procedures. The position requires 4–6 years offshore production operator experience, a High School Diploma, and ENG1 fitness.

Overview

The position of Decommissioning Loop Operator - A entails overseeing the startup, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of process and utility systems, ensuring they operate within specified parameters and meet quality standards. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting to optimize sales quality and delivery volume, maintaining compliance with environmental guidelines, conducting equipment testing and maintenance, and facilitating a safe work environment through risk assessments and clear communication. Additionally, the position involves maintaining accurate records, witnessing calibrations, and fostering positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of facility drawings, red line changes and MOC process and paperwork.
• Strong understanding of API 14C, API RP 2D, and CFR/ USCG regulations.
• Strong understanding of SEMS requirements and policies.
• Strong knowledge of NPDES reports and pollution inspections and record keeping requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate platform de-inventory process.
• Oversee make safe operations on platform with construction to achieve platform safety and integrity.
• Oversee testing, calibration, and maintenance of equipment per API and CFR/ USCG requirements.
• Lead safe operations by conducting safety meetings, risk assessments, emergency drills, facility orientations, and JSA reviews.
• Facilitate various operations through the use of Safe Work Practices (JSA/LOTO/HWP/Heights/Open Hole/Crane/etc.) as required.
• Start up, operate, monitor and shut down utility systems.
• Ability to identify abnormal situations and troubleshoot problems with systems.
• Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, fire and gas systems.
• Perform crane and rigging operations as required.
• Mentor, train, and coaches the operators on the team.
• Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner.
• Generate and maintain daily reports, testing, and maintenance records as required by company, customer, and government agencies.
• Coordinate logistics for facility.
• Maintain clear and precise communications during maintenance operations.
• Shares and transfers information, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Control activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be open to living on a supply vessel full time, per diem will be provided.
• 4-6 years experience working offshore as a production operator.
