Altrad Sparrows, a global provider of specialist engineering, inspection, operations and maintenance services, is seeking an Offshore Crane Mechanic in the United States. You will execute all aspects of offshore crane services in the field, inspect and repair hydraulic cranes, and implement preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as offshore crane mechanic.
• Understanding of basic mechanics and hydraulics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of crane rigging procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must possess personal hand tools.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• Able to work an adhoc schedule.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of offshore crane services in the field.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic cranes, including winches, valves, engines, and hydraulic components.
• Implement a preventative maintenance program for offshore cranes.
• Conduct electrical parts changeouts and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Monitor activities and uphold the company’s image and safety standards.
