Gulf Island LLC seeks an Offshore Crane Operator to manage main and deck crane operations offshore in the Gulf area. Responsibilities include inspections, ensuring safety, and coordinating pre-lift planning and signal communication to ensure safe lifting operations.

The role requires adherence to API RP 2D and 30 CFR 250.198, with emphasis on weather-conditional de-rating and robust documentation. Outdoor work is expected in Gulf conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate main and deck cranes within designed SWL loads and applicable de-rating tables.
• Complete inspections for equipment and document any discrepancies.
• Maintain crane equipment per API RP 2D and 30 CFR 250.198 and keep documentation up to date.
• Coordinate with signalman, verify crane capacity under weather and sea state, and ensure safe lifts.
