Job summary

ALTRAD SPARROWS is seeking an Offshore Crane Operator to inspect, maintain, and operate offshore cranes. The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ repair and maintenance experience on lattice boom cranes, with mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel proficiency.

You will work on-site in a dynamic environment and coordinate crane activities with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include setting up and operating cranes, ensuring correct rigging, completing job paperwork, and participating in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of repair and maintenance of lattice boom offshore cranes.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and diesel experience required.
• Familiar with proper crane rigging procedures.
• Knowledge of crane operations and related safety practices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down and operate offshore crane.
• Inspect job site and evaluate customer requirements for lifting operations.
• Represent Sparrows Offshore, LLC to customers and translate requirements into scope.
• Perform rigging setup and determine needed rigging equipment.
• Complete all paperwork associated with crane jobs.
• Act as job coordinator or attend pre-job meetings when required.
• Maintain cranes and troubleshoot/repair as needed.
• Follow standard hand signals for crane operation.
