Responsibilities

• Operate pedestal cranes to move cargo, bulk materials, containers, tubulars, drilling equipment, and supplies between supply vessels and the rig.
• Support deck operations, maintenance projects, and rig moves as needed.
• Perform blind lifts, heavy lifts, and personnel transfers where permitted, working closely with deck crews, banksmen, and the bridge to ensure safe and efficient lifts.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of load charts, crane inspections, lifting gear, rigging practices, weather limitations, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Conduct routine crane inspections, identify equipment deficiencies, and assist with basic maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure safety and operational efficiency in a fast-paced offshore setting.
