Genesis Energy, LLC, an affiliate of Genesis Energy, L.P., seeks a Corrosion Control Technician to support Gulf Coast pipelines in Texas.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining corrosion protection equipment for crude oil pipelines and supervising contractors The role requires 3 years' cathodic protection experience, NACE CP-1 certification, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years' experience in cathodic protection.
• NACE CP-1 Cathodic Protection Tester certification.
• Must be able to work with very limited supervision.
• Must be familiar with local, state and federal regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be capable of supervising outside contractors.
• May require travel; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Pipeline Compliance Systems (PCS) - Allegro Field Data PC preferred.
• Safety Sensitive position with pre-employment and random Drug and Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, maintain, install and operate corrosion control equipment for crude oil pipelines.
• Conduct surveys and tests; prepare reports to maintain pipeline integrity.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Work with corrosion engineers to ensure standards are met.
• Meet safety training requirements.
• Supervise outside contractors performing work on the pipeline system.
• Report potential issues to the Pipeline Manager.
• Ensure awareness of local, state, and federal regulations.
