Job summary

Nexus Integrity Management, LLC is seeking a Corrosion Technician to monitor, inspect, and maintain corrosion control systems for pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure in West Texas. You will perform field inspections, collect data, run tests, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The role requires 2+ years of field experience, a high school diploma or GED (associate degree or technical certification preferred), and the ability to travel to remote field sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• NACE certification (CP1/CP2/CIP) desirable.
• 2+ years of field experience in corrosion prevention or cathodic protection.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maps (pipeline alignment sheets).
• Proficiency with corrosion testing equipment and data logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and maintain corrosion control systems in field sites.
• Perform inspections and tests to identify corrosion and coating issues.
• Record and analyze corrosion data; prepare reports and action plans.
• Support internal and external corrosion control programs and mitigation.
• Calibrate and maintain monitoring equipment; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers and third-party contractors.
