Job summary

Kalypso Offshore seeks a Contracts Manager to own the contractual and commercial framework for subsea cable projects. You will draft, negotiate, and administer agreements with offshore wind developers, operators, vessel owners, and supply chain partners.

You will advise project teams on obligations, maintain templates, and manage risk across multiple live contracts. Requirements include a Law degree or related discipline and proven contracts management experience in offshore energy or heavy

Qualifications

Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Proven contracts management experience in offshore energy or heavy engineering.
Working knowledge of standard contract forms such as FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate client contracts, framework agreements and subcontracts.
Lead contractual negotiations with clients and suppliers, with external counsel as needed.
Administer live contracts: variations, change orders, notices and correspondence.
Manage risk across the portfolio: liability, indemnity, insurance, liquidated damages.
Support tendering with contractual qualifications, risk registers, and clarifications.
Maintain contract templates, terms, and management registers.
Advise project teams on obligations and correspondence.
Handle NDAs, cooperation agreements, MOUs, and consortium arrangements.
Assist insurance placement and claims with brokers, ensuring regulatory compliance.
