Job summary

Gulf Island LLC in Ingleside, Texas, United States is seeking an Offshore Blaster/Painter to perform painting and sandblasting per contract specifications. This role is located offshore in the Gulf of America and requires handling pressure paint systems, maintaining equipment, and adhering to ISO-QA/QC standards.

Responsibilities include operating blasting and painting gear, applying coatings, and ensuring safe, compliant work while working outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in offshore blasting/painting.
• Must know how to use pressurized paint pots, blast pots, hoses and nozzles.
• Must know how to read a wet and dry mill paint gauge.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate painting and blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain painting and blasting equipment and safety gear.
• Apply primer and paint coatings as required and ensure quality control.
• Inspect and set up equipment to maintain safe blasting/painting environment.
• Follow company specifications and safety MSDS.
