Qualifications

• Experience as press trainee or similar preferred.
• Valid clamp truck certification.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Head Pressman and Production Manager for a seamless workflow.
• Safely operate and maintain the press and related equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Install and align plates on the press accurately.
• Prepare paper for the press and manage roll splices without interrupting the web.
• Bundle and stack printed products on skids; prepare materials for mailing as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and dispose of waste daily.
• Perform press maintenance tasks as required by supervisors.
• Address press waste and color adjustments with urgency to ensure quality.
• Review each task against the job ticket and execute per specifications.
