Job summary

PostcardMania in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Offset Press Operator with sheet-fed offset experience to operate a 5-color Komori press. This temporary, Monday–Friday role runs 5:00am–12:00pm and includes training a Press Assistant while maintaining safety and quality on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities include press setup, cleaning, color control, and equipment troubleshooting. Perks include standard benefits and paid time off in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a commercial sheet-fed offset printing press.
• Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot a printing press while maintaining print quality.
• Experience with multi-color presses; 5-color Komori experience preferred.
• Knowledge of press cleaning, routine maintenance, color control, and registration.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Grease and clean the press regularly to maintain optimal performance.
• Train and manage a Press Assistant to load paper and assist with press operations.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.

• Maintain strong communication with team members and supervisors.
• Adhere to high standards of quality and efficiency.

As a Printing Press Operator, your mission is to produce high-volume, high-quality printed materials, such as postcards and brochures. You'll be responsible for operating a 5-color Komori press, maintaining the press, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you'll train an assistant to help load paper and manage the press efficiently.
