Job summary

PostcardMania in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Printing Press Operator for a temporary, Monday–Friday shift from 5:00am to 12:00pm. The role focuses on operating a 5-color Komori press, maintaining top-quality, high-volume printing of postcards and brochures.

You will set up, run, and troubleshoot the press, train a Press Assistant, and uphold safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with sheet-fed offset printing and multi-color presses is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sheet-fed offset press.
• Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot a printing press while preserving print quality.
• Experience with multi-color presses is required; 5-color Komori preferred.
• Knowledge of press cleaning, routine maintenance, color control and registration.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the 5-color Komori press for high-quality printing.
• Grease and clean the press regularly to maintain optimal performance.
• Train and manage a Press Assistant to load paper and assist with press operations.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Operate a pallet jack and forklift (training provided).
• Maintain strong communication with team members and supervisors.
• Adhere to high standards of quality and efficiency.

You’ll be responsible for operating a 5-color Komori press, maintaining the press, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you'll train an assistant to help load paper and manage the press efficiently.
