Job summary

PostcardMania is seeking a Printing Press Operator for a temporary shift in Clearwater, FL. The role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00am–12:00pm, with responsibilities including operating a 5-color Komori press, maintaining equipment, and training a Press Assistant.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior printing experience is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Prior printing machine experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a 5-color printing press.
• Familiarity with print advertising and machining knowledge is desirable.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the 5-color Komori press for high-quality printing.
• Grease and clean the press regularly to maintain optimal performance.
• Train and manage a Press Assistant to load paper and assist with press operations.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Operate a pallet jack and forklift (training provided).
• Maintain strong communication with team members and supervisors.
• Adhere to high standards of quality and efficiency.

You'll be responsible for operating a 5-color Komori press, maintaining the press, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you'll train an assistant to help load paper and manage the press efficiently.
