The Role

1. Hours: On-the-job training will be from Monday to Friday, 8 am-6 pm. After training, hours will be on 2nd or 3rd shift.
2. Run Printing Press: Responsible for the operation of the printing press, ensuring output, quality, and efficiency. Experience with setups, mounting plates, loading ink, and familiarity with modern press technology is preferred. Monitor supplies and suggest improvements for efficiency. Manage next job setup during current job runs to ensure seamless transitions.
3. Ensure Quality Printing: Use systems to scan raw materials, create labels, and track semi-finished products. Communicate deviations from specifications. Perform press cleaning and maintenance. Handle stressful situations diplomatically. Ensure product quality to aid finishing processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven work dedication. Preferably 3+ years as a Litho Press or similar operator.
• Skills: Ability to identify color variations, perform basic math, operate computers (Excel, Outlook), communicate effectively, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Abilities: Must work onsite in Omaha, NE, at 132nd & L Street. Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk on cement floors, and perform physical tasks. Must pass background, drug, physical, audio, and color vision tests. Be a team player aligned with company values: accountability, dedication, authenticity, and trainability.
