Job Title: 1st Press Operator

Location: Graphic Packaging International-Omaha, Production Department

Type of Position: Full Time-Hourly

Job Functions:

Responsible for running the press at the targeted production rate while maintaining quality.

Responsible for running re-winder and pulling rolls off the press.

Responsible for handling of plant equipment and supplies by themself

Responsible for checking the print quality against all specifications on every roll. Adjust the color in the press if needed.

Assists in training press apprentices following all established training procedures.

Work as a team with B Pressman within the restrictions and capabilities.

Job Specifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3 years' experience in printing press; flexographic wide web strongly preferred.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, proofs and spec sheets.

Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees.
