YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" person in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. You are passionate about training and coaching your team into great merchants who deliver AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team consistently executes floorsets effectively and maintains merchandising and marketing brand standards. You ensure the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you excel at driving sales by maximizing fitting room and sales floor productivity and building guest loyalty through a top-tier guest experience. You analyze reports and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and assist the Store Team Leader in developing short- and long-term business plans to meet key KPIs.
• Merchandising innovation: You coach your team to provide an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store consistently meets AEO Brand Standards. You manage day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment, always ready with a plan to capitalize on merchandising opportunities.
• People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values, serve as a role model, and hold your team accountable for excellent customer service standards on the sales floor and in the fitting rooms.
• Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and you are committed to training and developing your team to deliver outstanding service.
• Teamwork: You believe in continuous performance feedback, conduct team touchbases, develop plans, and celebrate successes to foster engagement and a high-performing team.
• Operational innovation: You support daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards throughout the store, and ensure fitting rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity: You uphold store safety, asset protection standards, adhere to policies, and always do the right thing.
