Under the direct Supervision of the Captain, AI, the Office Technician (T) must have a high degree of sensitivity and be cognizant of the consequence of error related to both oral and written communication. This individual will be responsible for various aspects of clerical duties involving but not limited to typing correspondences, memorandums, reports, staff transfer packages, Operational Procedures and Post Orders. Assisting with tracking of staff evaluations, TIC dates, incarcerated persons appeals, institutional security operations and other Custody/Program activities.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.

Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
