DEA is currently seeking an Office Survey Technician to join our team in Boise, ID. The role involves performing technical work in survey drafting, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way engineering, and construction surveying services for both public and private clients.

Position Duties

1. Provide Surveying and Geomatics office support.
2. Map, draft, extract data, and conduct topographic surveys.
3. Collaborate closely with the Survey Manager and Project Surveyor.
4. Perform research, design, and calculations for survey and mapping projects using AutoCAD or Microstation.
5. Assist with boundary determinations and procedural analysis.
6. Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, and plats.
7. Perform other duties as assigned, including some fieldwork.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 0.5 years of survey field and/or office experience and general engineering plan reading skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
• LSIT certification or ability to obtain one.
