Hourly Pay Range: $15.02 - $22.51

Job Summary: Under general supervision, theOffice Support Assistant 2provides office support to the Aging and Disability Resource Centerto ensure efficient office operation of the department. This position is responsible for front desk coverage, maintaining copier and equipment areas, fax distribution, and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

  • Provide in-person customer service at front desk to address the needs of current and prospective clients.
  • Process WisGO and other transactions as needed.
  • Organize and restock mailroom, front desk, and lobby areas
  • Sort and distribute all incoming faxes and mail
  • Monitor inbox and maintain database to complete Preadmission Screen & Resident Review (PASRR) process.
  • Monitor inbox and maintain data base to complete Critical Incidents process.
  • Create pre-formatted monthly newsletter for Office for People with Disabilities
  • Current resident of the state of Wisconsin
  • Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in an office is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of fax machines, scanners, and printers.
  • Previous experience working with the aging and disability community a plus.

Additional Knowledge and Skills : Knowledge of office practices, principles, methods, and procedures; knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation; knowledge of the use of a personal computer; written and oral communication skills; organizational skills; proficiency in word processing and data entry; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to maintain records, files, and store items systematically; ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25lbs as needed.
