Michigan State University College of Engineering is seeking an Office Supervisor to lead a three-person health care representative team supporting front desk functions for Counseling and Psychological Services. You will supervise hiring, orientation, time tracking, training, and performance management, while covering duties as needed.

Office Supervisor will lead a team of three health care representative who will be supporting the front desk functions of the Counseling and Psychological Services unit. This team will assist students with scheduling and checking in for their counseling appointments in the electronic health record. This position directly supervises including hiring, orientation, time tracking, training and performance management. Position will function as a working supervisor able to perform the duties of subordinates for coverage during lunch/breaks, vacations, and other absences.
Knowledge normally acquired from specialized training such as that acquired in Business and Office Management ; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in office management, budget preparation, financial and administrative record-keeping and secretarial skills; experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and/or web page design or presentation software; or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; requires one to three years for supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
