Arizona Department of Housing, Office of Manufactured Housing Inspector, is seeking a qualified professional to inspect installation activity and enforce state and federal laws for manufactured homes, mobile homes, and factory-built buildings. Within the Office of Manufactured Housing Division, this position is responsible for the inspection of all installation activity and enforcement of State and Federal laws and regulations with regard to the installation of manufactured homes, mobile homes, factory-built buildings and accessory structures. This includes the inspection of structures, soil, foundation, utility connections, proper design and structural plan application, and the issuance of occupancy clearances. Other duties as assigned. These functions support the Agency's mission to maintain standards of quality and safety for the occupants of these regulated structures.

Reliable, high-speed internet access is required for remote positions. Valid Arizona Driver’s License; International Code Council (or equivalent) certification in an appropriate category at time of hire or within one year of hire date. Experience with general and manufactured housing/factory-built building construction and installation methods; field experience as a construction superintendent/foreman or journeyman.
