Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join the Health Services Department at multiple locations. The role involves performing administrative and direct care tasks to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction, and managing patient flow through the visitation process.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, BLS certification or be within 30 days of hire, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Preferred: MA, STNA, EMT or Paramedic certification/registration.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
