Floor Coverings International of Roanoke-Blacksburg, VA is seeking an Office Manager to lead administrative, marketing and financial activities for our local franchise. The role focuses on writing estimates, scheduling projects, supporting marketing efforts, and maintaining accurate financial records to drive growth.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of office or sales experience, strong organizational skills, and is comfortable with QuickBooks training provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Strong in-person, phone and text communication skills.
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
• Experience in general bookkeeping with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
• Capable of making good business decisions and working independently without constant oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Efficiently coordinate and schedule appointments for Sales Department.
• Provide follow-up on open and working proposals to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing, managing, and implementing local marketing initiatives.
• Support and participate in home shows and events (paid weekends may be optional).
• Maintain a clean, organized and inviting office and workspace environment.
• Update and record billing and expenses using QuickBooks (training provided).
• Generate job costing reports for completed projects.
• Track and manage timely payment of business expenses.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and manage production orders.
• Order products for upcoming projects and schedule delivery.
• Schedule start dates between customers and installers; update customers on progress.
• Update software apps daily with job status and schedules.
