Join to apply for the OFFICE MANAGER role at RML Automotive Inc

We are seeking an Office Manager to join our growing team at Lone Star Toyota. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to make a positive impact on our business, customers, and community every day.

The Office Manager is responsible for reviewing and processing financial data across dealership departments, ensuring accurate financial reporting to the Controller.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Train and supervise office personnel and phone operators.
  2. Analyze and organize office operations and procedures.
  3. Assist the Controller with month-end tasks, including preparing financial statements per dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
  4. Control all posted documents, such as vehicle deals, commissions, and inventory changes.
  5. Prepare daily bank deposits and cash reports.
  6. Maintain an effective cash management system, forecast cash needs, and keep cash reporting logs.
  7. Control petty cash for the dealership and sales department.
  8. Provide daily operating control updates and inform management about trends.
  9. Reconcile select accounts monthly and approve adjustments to inventory and receivable accounts.
  10. Ensure manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims and rebates, are accurate and current.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Automotive accounting experience required.
  • CDK experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy automotive office environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable in an open office setting.
