St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Interlachen, FL invites applications for an Office Manager. This part-time role (20 hours/week, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM) supports parish administration and financial record-keeping under the Pastor's direction.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, office experience, strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work independently in a faith-based environment; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Office Manager
Reports to: Pastor

FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
The Office Manager is responsible for the full range of parish administrative functions. Responds to specific and routine work assignments, as well as special projects from the Pastor, taking priority, requiring great attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
The position is part-time, five days per week from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, vendors, employees, and the public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
