Job summary

DEO: The Dentist Entrepreneur Organization is seeking a highly organized Dental Office Manager for a Private Pediatric Practice. The role leads daily operations and supports patient care, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will collaborate with the Dentist(s), manage scheduling and billing, and drive a patient-centered culture while upholding high standards of service. A background in pediatric dentistry operations is valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business or healthcare but not required.
  • Three (3) years' experience as a Dental Office Manager with knowledge of dental practice operations, terminology, procedures, and insurance claims/billing, P&L responsibility.
  • Pediatric Dental Office leadership experience preferred, but not required.
  • Multi-unit leadership experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proven in treatment plan presentations and gaining case acceptance.
  • Strong leadership style with ability to set clear expectations and foster a supportive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations to exceed goals including scheduling, revenue optimization, expense control, and P&L responsibility.
  • Deliver treatment plan presentations and communicate recommended treatments to patients.
  • Partner with the Dentist(s) to lead the team and develop a collaborative environment.
  • Deliver a superior patient experience demonstrating compassion and responsiveness.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely.

Our team takes pride in helping our communities be healthier, feel better and smile with confidence.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to lead our team and provide optimal dental health. This hands-on leader will play an intricate role in our success by executing all areas of our practice at the highest level. This is a true leadership role that requires a seasoned professional to navigate the daily operations.

What you'll do as an Office Manager:
  • Manage daily operations to exceed goals including scheduling, revenue optimization, expense control, and P&L responsibility
  • Deliver treatment plan presentations and effectively communicate recommended treatments to patients, helping them understand the importance of their oral health and moving forward with treatment
  • Partner with the Dentist(s) to lead the team by developing a collaborative, positive environment to support each member's success and development
  • Deliver a superior patient experience demonstrating compassion, responsiveness and sensitivity to patient needs
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or healthcare discipline preferred, but not required
  • Three (3) years' experience as a Dental Office Manager with knowledge of dental practice operations, terminology, procedures, and insurance claims/billing, P&L responsibility
  • Pediatric Dental Office leadership experience strongly preferred, but not required
  • Multi-unit leadership experience preferred, but not required
  • Highly effective in treatment plan presentations and gaining case acceptance
  • Effective leadership style with the ability to set clear expectations, hold the team accountable, and create a supportive culture inspiring the best out of others
  • Excellent time management and analytical skills with the ability to quickly resolve issues
  • Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software
  • Stable work history demonstrated on your resume
