Holder Construction is seeking an Office Engineer to join our Preconstruction team in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting cost estimation, quantity surveying, and early project planning.

You will collaborate with design professionals, coordinate trades, and gain exposure to BIM, with opportunities for merit-based growth and career development.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication, time management, collaboration, and a team-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and understand construction design documents and specifications.
• Prepare accurate construction cost estimates and quantity surveys across various scopes of work.
• Manage cost and design issues to optimize project outcomes.
• Coordinate trades and gain exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Oversee project purchasing, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting.

About the Role

We are looking for an Office Engineer to join our Preconstruction team in our regional offices across the United States. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand construction design documents and specifications.
• Prepare accurate construction cost estimates and quantity surveys across various scopes of work.
• Manage cost and design issues to optimize project outcomes.
• Coordinate trades and gain exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Qualifications

Required

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills, and a “team first” mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Preferred

• Internship or prior experience in construction or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and scheduling principles.
