Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an Office Engineer for the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP) in New York. The role focuses on supporting the delivery of a landmark capital project that will transform transportation infrastructure and regional mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Previous experience in an engineering or construction office environment, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of construction processes, project documentation, and office management practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, review, and distribution of project documents, plans, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
• Maintain project records, logs, and documentation with good organization and accessibility.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate communication and updates.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders ensuring timely responses and adherence to requirements.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify discrepancies and issues.
• Support quality control processes by tracking non-conformances and assisting in issue resolution.
• Collaborate with field personnel to align office activities with on-site milestones.
