Job summary

M&J Engineering P.C. is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to support projects for the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 5-10 years of experience in construction administration or project documentation.

Responsibilities include managing project documentation, tracking contractor submissions, and assisting with reports for MDOT SHA. Benefits include medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction administration or project documentation.
• Experience with DOT project documentation systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
• Track contractor submittals and shop drawings and coordinate review with MDOT SHA.
• Assist with preparation of reports required by MDOT SHA.
