Responsibilities

• Handles intake of first notice of loss reports.
• Conducts investigations independently and at management direction to establish liability quickly.
• Negotiates settlement of claims with insureds within established authority.
• Maintains a complete and thoroughly documented claim file with supporting documents.
• Adjusts reserves and issues payments as appropriate.
• Works with field appraisers for damage evaluations and timely settlements.
• Ensures compliance with Fair Claims Practices Acts and KPIs.
